Adorable illustrations. I really like the title page/cover. However, I agree with other commentators. You need to edit your text. If you cannot afford to pay a professional editor, I suggest you join a writer's group, or ask a student with an English major. A student may be willing to work for the experience. I understand why you want to have "dressed in most beautiful of dresses", but though cotton may be soft, I would not wish to have the image of cotton in my head when I think of beautiful skin. Cotton is fuzzy and appears hairy. Rose petals are soft, but they are also smooth and sweetly scented. You must consider every single word when you write. Good luck!

ReplyDeleteInstead of saying, "She dressed only the most beautiful dresses.", why not say, "She only wore the most beautiful dresses."
